Priority: Child Safety & Protection

Child Safety & Protection Standards

Milaan has a zero-tolerance policy for any content, behavior, or activity that exploits, harms, or endangers minors. We define a minor as any person under the age of 18.

    Immediate action: We take immediate action against any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or abuses minors

  • •

    Grooming prevention: Communications that attempt to manipulate, exploit, or build inappropriate relationships with younger users are prohibited and reported to authorities

  • •

    Legal compliance: We comply with all applicable laws regarding child safety and report illegal content to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant authorities

  • •

    Age appropriate: All content must be appropriate for users 13 and above; users under 18 have additional protection measures

  • •

    Prohibited content: Absolutely no content that depicts, promotes, normalizes or glorifies child abuse or exploitation in any form

  • •

    Urgent reporting: We provide multiple, easy-to-access reporting tools for users to flag concerning content or behavior involving minors

Reporting Concerns

How to Report Concerns

If you encounter any content or behavior that violates our guidelines, especially concerns related to child safety, please report it immediately using one of these methods:

In-App Reporting

  • • Tap the three dots (⋮) on any post or message
  • • Select "Report" from the menu
  • • Choose the violation category
  • • For urgent child safety concerns, select "Child Safety"

Reports are reviewed 24/7, with child safety reports prioritized

Immediate Concerns

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please:

  • 1. Contact local law enforcement immediately
  • 2. Report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children: CyberTipline or call 1-800-843-5678
  • 3. Then notify our Safety Team at 1-800-555-1234 (24/7 emergency line)

What Happens After You Report

  1. Our Trust & Safety team reviews the report (urgent child safety reports are prioritized)
  2. Appropriate action is taken according to our policies and applicable laws
  3. Law enforcement is notified when required by law or when a child is at risk
  4. You may be contacted for additional information if needed
  5. While we cannot share details of investigations, we will inform you when your report has been processed

Our Commitment

Violation of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban from the Milaan platform. We reserve the right to update these guidelines as needed to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.

Child safety is our highest priority. Violations of our child safety guidelines will result in immediate action, including account termination and reporting to appropriate authorities.
